I'm so glad I put solar on my house. I really love paying $10 a month, and then Edison charging me a lump sum at the end of the year in amount what I'd pay monthly for a year if I didn't have solar - despite my panels putting electricity back in the grid. A-Holes.

Been trying for over three weeks to simply schedule service to be turned off. Keep getting an error message online. Called customer service three different times. None of the agents new what the error meant. Said they escalated it to management. That was useless. Called again today. They are not accepting calls except for emergencies. Got directed to the website, which of course, is down.

If I could I would give them 0 stars. Terrible customer service and unprofessional. Power went out at 9:44am on Tuesday, January 6, 2021 due to power failure. I got home at 8:40pm expecting the issue to be resolved and was disappointed when the power was not restored. We called SCE and followed their instructions to resolve the issue and did not work they said they were going to send a tech to our home. My wife, daughter, and I waitedin the garage in her vehicle for over 2 hours before calling back to check the status and time of arrival of the technician. They told us that the meter shows we have power and therefore werent going to send a tech.. didn't bother calling us to tell us noone was coming. I called again the following morning hoping a better trained representative could help resolve the issue. They had me to the exact same thing and nothing changed. Called a 3rd time in the afternoon and did the exact same thing again. They said they are sending some over today but if there is nothing wrong with the meter the tech will leave. Over 30 hours with no power and food in the refrigerator and freezer is going bad.

No, when you sign up for it you agree that it's up to the company discretion. The only notification I got of an event was when my ac would be on, blowing hot air. However I learned there are lights on the ac unit with a legend that indicate when an event is going on.

If your low income my sister in law works for a company that will replace them i believe amongst other things to make your home energy efficient. All for free
