I'm taking my Samsung Galaxy J3 phone to France. What do I need to charge it up? Will the 220V destroy my phone? I have an adapter plug but not a converter.

You definitely need a converter...also an international rate plan for service.

You need to get a converter, or when you get to France get a charger there. The j3 uses the USB standard of 5.1Vdc to charge
