NO!! I am a retired nurse who worked at HFH. It is NOT first come, first served!! The Emergency room will ALWAYS take the most life-threatening cases first!! It's called TRIAGE All of you people that come to the ER with minor injuries---- go to the MINOR EMERGENCY CENTERS!!!! STOP USING THE ER FOR HEADACHES, NAusea, and cold and flu symptoms!! STOP USING THE ER AS A DOCTORS OFFICE!!!! GO TO MINOR EMERGENCY!!!

It all depends on how many are ahead of you at the time.

If its for a cold or the flu 2 hours. Dont go. If a bone is sticking out, immediately.

Depends entirely on the time of day, whether or not the patient is stable, and what patients are already being treated in the back. If you come in and are blue from not breathing, for example, your wait time will be nonexistent. If you have unspecified abdominal pain and your vitals are fine, it could be a few minutes to 4+ hours.

Depends on the "emergency".
