The menu usually states market value. Most would think that refers to the cost of the lobster at the docks. That is not true. Market value means to them, how crowded the town is and how much they think the visitor market will pay. Crowded weekends prices are higher than on a slow weekday. If they have a seating waitlist, rates will be a few dollars more. Typically $30 or less. Hope this helps.

A full lobster dinner is market price which is around $20. However they have great lobster rolls for $10
