My wife and I went into Bobs on a quiet Thursday night. We didn’t go with the intention of buying our new mattress and bed frame, but just to price and browse. We were greeted by Ryan who was very friendly but also gave us our space to look and discuss by ourselves. While we didn’t feel crowded at all, Ryan was always within range to answer questions, without hovering. When I think of an ideal experience with a store representative, this would be it. Once we realized that we were leaning towards a purchase, we were presented with all options clearly and honestly- including being upfront about shipping delays for the frame (4 months, but the entire world is experiencing huge delays now Feb. 2022). We don’t need all the bells and whistles but we do like a couple of accessories/upgrades. Everyone can relate to being aggressively upsold, but in this case we felt Ryan was listening to our concerns and not pushing unnecessary additions (VERY much appreciated). Bobs had a decent selection of frames on their floor, however only one bed frame caught our eye, which my wife instantly knew would be “the one”. Mattress selection was great/diverse and we narrowed our selection down to one that met our sleeping preferences perfectly (king hybrid 1/2 firm + 1/2 plush w/ cooling gel). Towards the end of the transaction we were also greeted by the floor manager who double-checked to make sure all our needs were met. Ryan went through our itemized bill (twice) to make sure everything was understood and approved. We also signed up for a Bobs card which my wife will be using again soon, I’m sure. Finance options with no interest were appreciated and attractive enough to forgo using our normal credit cards. Overall, a fantastic experience: product selection, accessory options, financing, delivery and most of all- the customer experience with our sales agent. Highly recommended to anyone upgrading a bedroom….go consult with Ryan!

While the Bob’s experience was good and I love the quality furniture, the delivery service I received today was very bad. I paid extra to have a dining set and reclining couch assembled, cleaned up, and shown how to use the products I spent a few thousand dollars on. Instead what I received was 10 minutes of the delivery people building it and then saying bye. They were more concerned with me leaving a “positive review” than saying anything about the products they assembled. Not only that, I got a text from their delivery company after saying to leave a positive review as well. Worse was that they left strong packaging tape on the couch that I had to peel off, tape on my floors, left packing peanuts all over my living room and couch, left plastic and foam on the dining set, and gouged my brand new hardwood floors from assembling the couch… I will never pay extra for this “experience” again, and will tell friends and family the same. I recommend looking at Jordan’s for a better delivery experience than Bob’s - at least in the Portland, Maine area.

Yes you have to pay it off by the 12th month which is interest free. From the 13th month you get hit with 12 months of interest. So whatever you do pay it off by the 12th month or by 11 months. Whateve your total is split it in 12 and pay it off. And remember you can always make a but more than the monthly total.

You absolutly can take pieces home yourself, as long as they are in stock at the store. Most items are in stock, and dont have to be deliverd from a warehouse.
