Even though FOC accepts volunteers of all ages, they often used to bring classes of young school students to their organization. I was a volunteer for many years. They like young people who volunteer and I'm sure that you could work out a date or dates and time periods with them. They had many different things to do when I volunteered, including keeping cats company and petting them. I miss everything however, I'm old and don't live in a place where I could even foster a kitten or very young cat.
