You can often times park at the Ruby Inn right next to the Tower for $5. Also, it isn't far to the Riverfront Parking garage...just a couple of blocks.

Yes, the garage has an automated ticket machine at the entrance. You take a ticket and park. If you are staying at the hotel, upon check-in they will then give you a ticket for you're entire stay that you will use at the garage exit, so that you can come and go multiple times without paying at the kiosk each time.
