Is about 3 1/2 miles round trip [ about 800 foot total climb ] Depend how fast you go up & down..trail is made by small little rocks...be sure u will be back @ parking by dust. Sheriff will close the gate no matter how many cars still parked.
Well you can follow the water but you will take a couple of hours to get to the lake. Not to mention the way back. Go well prepared
