At the entrance to the garden there is the Tea Pavilion which offers food and beverage, however upon entry to the garden, their site http://www.niwa.org/garden-etiquette/ states "No food is allowed in the Garden. Please seal all food containers when inside the Garden". At times there are festivals and events which serve food and beverage inside the garden itself which may be the exception.

Thank you for asking. We do allow beverages to brought in, but there is no eating inside the garden unless we have a special event such as festival. Many visitors will eat at the Tea Pavilion next to our main entrance and then come enjoy the garden afterwards. Check out our website for more information on this and other notes on garden etiquette. www.niwa.org/garden-etiquette

Normally no, except at special events. There is a food place at the entrance.
