It was just jazz, jazz, and more jazz. Exactly what I was looking for. I went to see a show from one of my previous Jazz instructors, and it was so tight. There wasn't much there besides the performers, but what else do you really need?

Never been to a jazz concert before this one as I'm not a huge fan of this type of music but mainly went to support up and coming young musicians which I believe this venue does and very well. Not a huge place but big enough to create a great atmosphere and sound. There is a good size car park too.

San Diego's best kept live jazz secret. The finest of San Diego's jazz musicians play here in this quiet hideaway on Morena Boulevard. Tickets sold at the door with open seating. Casual place that unfortunately does not serve food or drink.

The music was great. Casual atmosphere. The venue wasn't much to write home about. We had to set up our own chairs. By the time the musician had started, they had run out of chairs, so it was standing room only. The hall had a musty, mildew smell, so if you have allergies, be forewarned.

Memorial benefit for La Jolla Jazz great Daniel Jackson who passed away in 2014. https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/entertainment/music/sdut-daniel-jackson-obituary-2014sep03-story.html
I haven't had problems showing up just before start time and getting in. Don't forget to bring cash.
I have never seen this on the schedule but you might meet local musicians there who could tell you. CHECK KSDS jazz 88.3 also.
