What do i need to bring for 1/2 day of fishing? What kind of gear and recommendation lures, weights, hooks, rod, size, test line? I am asking so I can buy the necessary items at the store before i go on the boat.

For inshore 1/2 day boat a 200-300 size reel is fine i. e., penn warfare combo is well suited. It's inexpensive reel rod combo and reliable. As far as line 30#-40# is sufficient for sure. Check with rep when checking in regarding hook size and type. Circle hooks work well. Hope this helps.

Best bet is to ask when checking in they will get you hooked up... haha and give all the right advice for the exact time and fishing for that trip....its always changing
