Yes

Adriana Damiani | Jul 20, 2022

Yes, the big areas like the flight and hangar decks are wheelchair friendly. There are other areas like the kitchen and the sailors quarters that are too narrow for a wheelchair and they have stairs

S. Scott | Jul 20, 2022

Wheelchair and elevator access is essentially limited to the flight and hangar decks. Anything else above the flight deck like the Flight tower or the multiple decks below require the use of the ships narrow metal stairways to reach those areas.

Yes, some wide open areas are wheelchair accessible

alejandro marquez | Jul 18, 2022

Yes there are areas that are accessible to wheel chairs but not everywhere

Ingemar Vessla | Jul 18, 2022

I would not describe it as wheelchair friendly per se. Some areas has been modified for easier access after the ship was turned into a museum but a lot remain in its original design and those are definitely not wheelchair friendly.

Shiro Kurita | Jul 18, 2022

I don't think it can be called wheelchair accessible. The hangar and maybe the flight deck might be but all of the rest is definitively not. The ship is so narrow that barely anyone fits through.

For the most part yes, there are a few spaces that are not as accessable
