Get Pawsitive Dog Training. On Requeza next to Rancho Coastal Humane Society. RCHS uses their method to train dogs. It's awesome.
You might want to go and look into the obedience facility right next door to RCH. I don't believe they are affiliated, but have heard good things about them. I don't know the exact name. Good luck and try tutorials on line, sometime the owner needs training as well.
