It should churches fall under non profit...you can go to www.starguide.org and look up financials for any organization you want to see where the money is being allocated...hope this helps
A church's financial records should be transparent and open to examination. Church leadership should have nothing to hide. Money given TO GOD through the church, should be used to build HIS Kingdom, not a man's kingdom. I believe that a pastor is a servant and should live a modest lifestyle, which is equal to or lower than those he serves. When God blesses us with more, we shouldn't raise our standard of living, but rather our standard of GIVING.
