depends on levels but 2 to 12 mins. normally we always have someone on the west side. so quick.
As others have said... Quickly. We have six post we try to man at all times. As it gets busier, less and less posts are manned. Post 2 is west salem and the highest priority post. As ambulances are dispatched in other areas of Salem, post 2 is the last one to be unmanned when all available ambulances are dispatched.
Like Chris said, we almost always have an ambulance team staged on the west side. Traffic plays a role in response times as does location. Call volume plays a part in this also. A crew could have been dispatches to a call, another crew sent over to take their place to stage & then also get a call. So their response time could be extended because of their previous location.
