I have a rescued senior pug about 6 or 7..he is unaltered..he marks everywhere and i wonder if it would benefit him help wise to get neutered at his age? He has other health issues and he has developed a really bad hacking cough...

Everyone there is very friendly and knowledgeable. Having him altered also saves on county registration fee.

My Daschund Mix was the same age ehen I had him neutered. It was stated that his age will not be a problem to have him neutered and it was better because all his reproductive organs are fully developed. He has gained some weightvand has calmed down...I woukd do a little more research because of his Health Issues.
