Do you guys take a look at hummingbirds? If so, can you guys take a look. We found a hummingbird and but it in a box to warm up cause it was freezing, but then I learned about torpor for hummingbirds. What do we do?

Yes they do rehab & release hummingbirds. Also FYI it is a felony to even possess any part or portion of a hummingbird nest or the birds themselves unless you have a permit, so if you found one get it to wildlife rescue ASAP to avoid any legal issues.

Hummingbirds are very sensitive if you if you think it is injured you can take it to project wildlife. Sometimes they hit a window and get stunned. If it hasn't been too long you can see if it can fly. But don't cover the box . the darkness will make him go in torpor. If it is a baby you might want to take it to project wildlife
