It wasn't worth the price. For $70-100+, then seeing that 4 flights could be afforded for a cheaper price of 54 to fly again, it shows that the prices could be cheaper. Also waiting for everyone to finish before being let out of the tube was constricting. But you get to watch the instructor demonstrate some skills in order to show you the potential tricks you can do/convince you to come back. Service was good, nice friendly people. Loved that they seemed to enjoy their life. It was cool, glad I went and experienced it because I won't come again. Upgrading to skydiving next time.

Really fun! My kids had a blast! I want to come back and try it. It's pretty pricey though for such a short amount of flying time! I was expecting at least 10-15min for the price but you only get a couple minutes (literally 2 mins) and if you pay and additional $20 you get one more minute (60 seconds) of "high fly time" where they take you up about 20-30 feet. The instructors were very nice and do a great job teaching. It was cool to see them fly at the end and do their tricks! They should have a buy 10 get one free deal or something for frequent fliers to motivate people to come back. The 50% off is good but what if someone wants to come in a bunch of times?

Generally, athletes compete to successfully complete a certain number of maneuvers in an allotted amount of time. Athletes can compete as teams, working to complete maneuvers and grips, or as individuals. Each performance is recorded and judged by a panel of experts. How does it work?

iFLY Indoor Skydiving - San Diego Mission Valley | Aug 17, 2021
iFLY Indoor Skydiving - San Diego Mission Valley | Aug 17, 2021

A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top of the building to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides through Return Air Towers. That leads to an inlet contractor that compresses & speeds up the air before it reenters the flight chamber. The result: a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.

How long is a flight?

iFLY Indoor Skydiving - San Diego Mission Valley | Aug 17, 2021
iFLY Indoor Skydiving - San Diego Mission Valley | Aug 17, 2021

Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds and each package includes a minimum of two 60-second flights (turns in the tunnel). However, total flight length depends on the package that you choose. When jumping out of an airplane, the free fall portion lasts approx. 45 seconds. If you reserve a package that contains 4 flights, you will have 4 turns in the wind tunnel with an instructor lasting 60 seconds each. Some of our packages include double-length flights which lasts double the time at a reduced cost. The entire iFLY first-time flyer experience takes approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes from start to finish.

iFLY Indoor Skydiving - San Diego Mission Valley | Aug 17, 2021
iFLY Indoor Skydiving - San Diego Mission Valley | Aug 17, 2021
