No, it was closed to make way for a new Multiple Level Restaurant and Bar.
Bummer, that was a great place.
Unfortunately not, its been closed for a few months now.
Looked like Golden Girls decor for years!!! Time for new development.
Please show the menu for the Anthony's Fish Grotto in La Mesa
We ate there for most occasions including the boat parade. It will be missed but it is a good site for a new generation restaurant. So try the Fish Market for bay views and great sea food. The La Mesa Anthony's is great with ducks in a little lake or big pond and 1960 look inside and fabulous food. Quick go while you can.
No, as said it was closed earlier this year. The Port District sold the rights to the Brigantine and they are completely renovating the site.
My wife and I ate there January 29. Anthony's will be missed. Anthony's Harborside closed January 31, 2017. The Brigantine was expected to be opening their restaurant mid-2018, but state and federal permits needed for demolition and new construction have been delayed. Meanwhile, the building sits vacant.
The one in La Mesa is awesome. It has lake side dinning, a bocci court and you can bring yiur dog.
