I was super new to working out, but Orange Theory has been great! The coaches are very kind- if your form is a little off, they help correct you in a way that doesn’t make you feel like a novice or feel stupid. They are also nice about challenging you to keep doing your best ! Highly recommend this studio

Recently joined because I prefer instructor lead classes, as I frankly don't end up pushing myself as hard when left on my own at a gym. Their system is heartrate based and gives me instant feedback on when to push harder or pull back. The workout routine changes daily and there is a lot of variety. Both the front desk staff and coaches have been friendly, encouraging, but not overbearing. They'll give you a few pointers to improve each class, and of course help as much as needed if you ask (don't be shy!), but the mix of attendees and fitness levels means I feel no pressure or shame for being one of the newer and less fit/coordinated folks in the class. After my first free class I was very happy to sign up for a membership, and I encourage you do the same if you're curious and work better in a friendly instructor lead environment!

I love OTF La Mesa! I’m a big fan of group fitness and this is by far the best gym I’ve ever been to. I love how the workouts allow you to go at your own pace and help you see your progress along the way. At the same time, the energy and vibe of the members, coaches and music push you to get in the zone and challenge yourself! The front desk and coaches are so welcoming and encouraging. If you’re looking for a great workout+community, join us!!

I’ve been a member for 3 and a half years and still get excited to work out each day! The workouts are challenging and you can tailor them to fit your personal goals. The trainers are always friendly, helpful and motivating. The member consultants take great care of us and I’ve always felt welcome at the La Mesa studio. The coaches and staff give above and beyond 100% whether it’s a regular day, a theme day, or a regional / all OTF challenge. I also like that the daily workout is the same at every studio in the world. I’m really thankful to have met a lot of my closest friends here:)
