So much history, it was incredible! Definitely give yourself time, there is so much to see! Our family of 4 (kids 13 and 11) were all impressed!

Always a great experience. Very clean and organized. All of the displays have great information cards, making it easy to browse on your own. There is something for all ages! We especially love the rock collection. The staff are all very friendly and kind.

Large museum with a little bit of everything from the area. We went here because the Oregon Trail Museum was being renovated. There were some things concerning the trail here but mostly other things like rocks and geology and farming and cattle farming.

This museum is amazing. Our tour guide was super cool. Pointed out things we never would have noticed. He gave the kids little chunks of fools gold. It's free for kids under $12. Definitely worth the stop while passing through. No ragrets. Not even one letter.

Around 1927 the Grande Ronde Lumber Company owned by thr Stoddard Bros and located on the Grande Ronde River at Perry, Oregon was shut down and the equipment moved to Pondosa to start the new mill which was the bought by Truman Collins of the Collins Company of Portland, Oregon. In 1956, the sawmill was bought by Boise Cascade Corporation which soon ceased mill operations at Pondosa. The town once housed about 500 residents before the mill shutdown A fire on June 20, 1959 destroyed much of the town...all that remains is the old hotel which now houses a county store.
25 bucks for individual
There was a pool in the building before WW2.
Admission: Adults (13+) $7.00 :: Seniors (60+) $6.00 :: Children (12 and under) Free
