Recently acquired a Nikon D70, circa 2003? Have fomatted compact flash card several times and we are still losing pictures. Bought new one online, wrong one. Where can we find help with this? Or can it be the camera?

Any friends with similar CF cameras?..try your card in theirs to make sure your old card isnt fried... Try formatting with pc in card reader... then reformat inside Nikon. I had a similar problem once... pin in camera was bent...

Thank you George, but my budding photographer is 11, frustrated and has decided to sell. We are unable to get to a Portland shop. But getting the feed back was awesome he didn't believe me. So, that being said anyone looking for package deal..flash lenses etc. Craigslist here we come. ☺
