Hi, I am a volunteer for SPCA. We do accept owner surrenders of cats if we have room to take them, which is frequently the case as we adopt our animals out quickly. We require that the cats be FELV/FIV negative, and be up to date on vaccines (rabies and distemper). The cat must be spayed or neutered as well, and there is a $50 fee to surrender the animal. If the cat is not microchipped, we will provide microchipping prior to rehoming. If you have a cat you need to surrender, contact us at the shelter and we will try to help.
