Credit or cash. You get 1/3 retail for cash and 1/2 for store credit. Buying tends to be season dependent.
Crossroads shares the same business model as Buffalo Exchange, by allowing its customers that sell items to choose either one or a combination of store credit or cash.(my preffered outcome is usually a combination) Crossroads by opinion has a better men's shoe and winter wear selection as well as overrall prices. Both stores give 30% of their resale tag price in cash or 50% in store credit.(For example-If they plan on reselling your jacket for $32.50 your cash potential is $9.75 or $16.25 in store credit. In turn, with lower in store prices, comes lower buyback value when selling to them. At least in my experience I have gotten more money from Buffalo, because comparatively they put higher values on name brands. Side note: they also have a much more rigid inspection process AND they will rarely buy women's clothing from men. Lastly, if you have taken items to one store, chances are slim that unwanted items will be purchased by the other. Credit their knowledge of current trends.
