Neither one of the previous answers are correct (1st Avenue Shelter no longer exists, and Greenhill will take in and care for cats from all of Lane County depending on the situation.) They will only take this kitty if you live Eugene. I had the same problem with an amazing beautiful young female. She asked where I lived and as soon as I said "Springfield", her whole attitude changed. I even offered $100 to Greenhill for taking her in, yet a very irritated "NO" in response even after telling her that when this kitty showed was pregnant. We helped her all the way thru it, found amazing homes for ALL 5 of her kittens. Offered to pay for her spaying, etc etc etc, all the while being threatened with eviction! Good luck!
