Amazing organization. They WILL insist on visiting your residence if you want to adopt, AND must see ownership paperwork if you own your home, or must speak to your landlord/agency if you rent. They are also picky about donations they accept, so top quality in store items is guaranteed.

Overheard what seemed like a manager refer to her employees as “a bunch of r-words” and proceeded to witness her verbally abuse one of the employees. I was absolutely taken aback, and honestly disgusted at her treatment toward her employee. Really hoping this isn’t the norm, but after asking a couple people working there it seems like she does this frequently. The door was closed to another hallway, but I could hear someone repeatedly yelling about the “competence of workers” there… don’t know if I’d wanna work there! Overall the cats were cute and the store itself presented very well!

I’m sad to write this 1 star review but my experience today has bothered me all day. I decorated for Christmas and had some items I decided not to use this year. Many of them were brand new and unopened. I have always enjoyed shopping at Sara’s treasures so I made a pile to donate to another thrift store and set aside my nicest items in a small box for Sara’s treasures. I brought it in, thinking how happy I was it would help them and go towards helping kitties. No sooner had I started shopping that the employee said “we can’t take these donations they are Christmas” What???? NOW is the time of year to sell Christmas! I walked over and said “I’m shocked, most of these items are brand new!” They said “oh I didn’t know if these had been opened” I was incredibly offended by the whole attitude so I said I would gladly take them to Goodwill. Not sure how Sara’s treasures plans to stay in business if they reject peoples donations. I won’t attempt another donation there ever again.

I am an extremely busy person, so I rarely ever write reviews unless I feel it’s absolutely necessary. I recently bought new cat shelves for cats to climb on that my cat did not use as she is finicky with typical cat supplies/toys due to being a mainly outdoor cat. Instead of returning, I wanted to donate them for a new kitty to enjoy. I handpicked this location to drop off because I liked that they were also a cat shelter and proceeds from the store went to that, despite the location being 15+ minutes away from my house, and there are much closer donation centers to me. I went to drop the shelves off on July 1, and since I am new to Eugene as of 2 weeks ago, I got a little lost getting to this location and arrived 2 minutes after close. I saw the door open still and was like “thank goodness, I can still drop this off.” The worker was bringing stuff inside from outside, and as I approached her with my massive box and a smile, she very gloomily looked at me and told me they just closed and could not accept my donation. Whaaaat??? Are your hands tied that you cannot accept a box from me? I didn’t even need a donation slip. She told me they were open at 10:00 tomorrow. However, it was my birthday the following day, so I was having friends over and did not want to drive another 15/20 minutes to deal with her again or anyone like her. I feel sorry that places are short staffed and end up with workers that provide subpar customer service. I hope the animals there receive much better care. Needless to say, I ended up at goodwill to drop off my brand new supplies and will not ever go back to this location again. I hope you are able to hire more friendly workers in the future. 2 stars only for the effort to create this kind of place, -3 for my experience; I hope it’s better for others.

Thank you, it seems like a smoldering dislike, a bit of hissing on occasion. New cat is making our older cat look like the villan, but we can see through that act. Maybe it can still work, new cat has had enough trauma. I do not think she would be easy to settle for the 4th owners, so we try again ... Thanks again, Cal

It's a bit late but yes they do!
Yep!
No it's just cats as far as i know, hometown pets is good if you want a rat
On and off. They had kittens about two months ago. Fees vary per cat- best to go in and meet the cats yourself!
I'm not sure, but a quote is just a phone call away... Thank you for considering adopting. There's a kitten waiting to give you love.
Most likely no....but call them they may have another resource for you..
That would be better answered by a phone call to SARA.'s as they can tell you about the current Cat's or Kittens on hand.
Only cats
Are you stupid?
No.
I'm Sure they will if it's not to old..
