We have a younger female Maine coon cat, she ran here from a neighbors home, they have dogs, I don't blame her. We have an older cat, and I can't add another problem for her. She's a love after calming time, but we can't have her with ours, help?

Thank you, it seems like a smoldering dislike, a bit of hissing on occasion. New cat is making our older cat look like the villan, but we can see through that act. Maybe it can still work, new cat has had enough trauma. I do not think she would be easy to settle for the 4th owners, so we try again ... Thanks again, Cal

Try introducing them through doors, and once that seems to go okay id use two carriers next to eachother so they can see and smell and yell but still not touch eachother, this isnt professional advice, just what seems to work best in my working with cats
