Not shocks, may want to check out a Les Schwab or brake specialist.
They have an onsite mechanic. I've had them do a few somewhat easy repairs and they don't charge a phenomenal fee either. They have always been honest and upfront if they feel I can get it done cheaper somewhere else. Shocks are easy to change out depending on the vehicle. I'd give them a call for a quote
No but they have done a distributor and ac fan. They will usually give your car a check when you go in for an oil change, which is cheaper than paying the $90 service fee to get it checked. They do have to charge for checking brakes; I don't know if shocks are visible with the tires still mounted on the car.
