For anything that needs an appointment? Yes they require a deposit. It does become a credit on your account. It gets included in the rest of your bill and will stay on your account if you don't use it all. It's $25 normally, but if I remember correctly, someone with a Hillsborough County voucher can set a spay/neuter appointment for less. I think it's $5 but I'd ask to be sure.
