When do you stop harasaing people after they ask for you to remove their number from the call list? Or do you think an acceptable business model is to call your customers terrible human beings but noooooo buy from us?

I made the mistake of doing business with Atlas Motors and ended up returning what they considered a $9000 car (it was only worth about $6000) and then they dragged their feet about paying off the car even after i returned it. I ended up getting the attorney general involved and magically, they did their jobs. Perhaps contacting the attorney general would help in your case?

Natasha, I suggest you familiarize yourself w/the DNC laws before you harass me. That's libelous talk. Laws are more liberal so-to-speak towards businesses than most people think. Especially if they are actual customers & even if one just engages in a sales talk once or makes a payment in the last 18 months. It's still okay to a point & a two way street. DNC laws are also very narrow in scope and only include for profit companies. If one requests to be taken off a list, the Co. typically has at least 31 days. However, many people open the door to calls again by their very own words. Typically when the marketer tries to convince them to listen but then asks if he can just call back later. And the consumer says 9YES just to get them off the phone. That's a done deal there. If you really want to help yourself not be called I would be asking, take me off any internal list kept. And be nice most are not and expect help beyond regs. You could be sued for liable if you actually hurt biz.
