My partner and I bought a Subaru from this dealership recently and had very bad luck with it. I can’t help but feel that the owner took advantage of us given we’re a younger couple and he may have thought we didn’t know what we were doing or what was up. While I was driving one day, I turned up the heat in the car and all of a sudden the car began to over heat. We had an upcoming trip so I wanted to take it in to Longoria anyway, since he told us to bring it in to have a look at it before we took it anywhere. When my partner picked it up, Longoria told him he had just turned on the car and had it running for a while, everything is fine.... He wasted half our gas tank during this process which was frustrating considering he didn’t do anything to it. So we take it back, feeling uneasy about the experience, the car is running fine no problems for a few days... We’re on our way on our trip and the same issue comes up again. AAA had to tow us to the nearest town and after a a 2 week repair and $3200 fix, we finally have our car back. I paid that same amount for the vehicle. I just want to give people a heads up, go in with your ego on FULL or this man will talk your ear off about himself and how knowledgeable he is. Now we know he’s just lazy. We’re new to Portland and thought Longoria was trustworthy, but we feel really taken advantage of and have a lot of work to do to make up for all the money spent on a car we were told was working fine. Others will have a different experience, but this was ours and we will not be doing any more business with them. Good luck.

If you’re in the market for a fair deal on a used car in the Portland Oregon area you should definitely check out Longoria Motors. It’s a small family owned business and they really go the extra mile for you. I don’t normally write reviews good or bad but this cannot go unsaid. James, Vicky and Gabriel were amazing to deal with they treated me like a member of their own family. Over the summer I found myself dealing with a serious illness that kept me housebound and the sudden loss of my only transportation. The folks at Longoria Motors didn’t hesitate to bring the car I was interested in right to my house to test drive. They were super friendly and compassionate and came by two other times to pick up the car and take it back for servicing and registration. Who does that? Nobody that’s for sure these people are a gem and they are the real deal. They even said I would have access to their mechanic into the foreseeable future at wholesale should anything go wrong with the car. Talk about backing up what you sell. I can’t stress enough the honor and integrity with which these people do business. The fact that I was sick and housebound did not get in the way at all because they were amazing. I will send everybody I know to Longoria Motors from now on. Oh and the car I got from them was in great shape and price below Kelley blue book. What an amazing experience. Thank you so much Vicky, James and Gabriel. You made it possible for me to get back on the road where it would’ve been impossible otherwise

By far the best car buying experience ever. Have bought cars for over 40 years and James is the most honest and forthright auto dealer that I have had the pleasure to deal with. The process was smooth. James also went so far above and beyond customer service in making sure the vehicles were taken care of to be licensed. And such a great person to work with I bought 2! Seriously, if you want a decent used car and an honest man to deal with, go here. The mechanics know their stuff and help with figuring out any minor issues.
