To be honest, if you really cant afford to keep if, i would find it another good home. You still have to pay for food, and future medical bills and so on and im sure you know that. I believe in Salem there's a program to helo you with getting it fixed. But you might want to call the heartland humane society to see what they charge or other vets around you. But at the most you looking to spend $50+ depending on what they charge for shots, getting the cat fixed and the exam fee which is usually 30+ by itself. If you do want to find it a home, please charge a small fee so the kitten does go to a horrible person, and of course explain your story about why you cant keep the cat. Someone out there will give it a good home.
