Yes, it is safe. This is a fairly busy trail system. Its fairly wide open. I've done over 50 hikes there and I've never encountered any suspicious characters.
I (male) have had no bad encounters and neither have my three younger sisters, one of whom hikes alone as often as I do. Its mostly "happy trails!" Or "good morning" . My advice is, if you feel you need it, pepper spray is inexpensive.
Any girl actually in fear of ever getting attacked should learn how to defend themselves and carry pepper spray.
I do not really know but i sawvsome women with some people hiking so I think that it is safe
It seems pretty desolate. I haven't had a lot of experience hiking there or knowledge how traveled the trails are. When i was there, i didn't noticed anything strange or out of the ordinary there. Hope this helps.
Yes it is safe for a woman to hike alone here. It is more public than isolated.
I see quite a few women hiking alone here. The trails generally have a lot of people on them during daylight hours
