Well defined trail and nature center. Good for longer hikes with minimal elevation change. Long stretches of trail without any shade. Expect some areas that are not as secluded as you'd expect (next to a golf course with "enthusiastic" players). Overall, nice trail to get some exercise and see some nature.

My dogs aren't great around other dogs but this trail is so wide that it doesn't cause me any issues at all.

I don’t know if it was just bad timing but this place smelled awful. Although, it could mainly be due to sewage water flowing underneath right beside the trail. Other than that, it’s not a bad little trek.

Beautiful trails all marked and easy to navigate we entered from a steep entrance in a neighborhood area. Very clean canyon, no trash cans do not litter! Also did run into 1 snake but only caught a glimpse before it slithered out of the trail be mindful wear you step.

I'm not sure. I know at the Golf course you can't because the close the front entry gate at 11 or so.
I usually do the walk from the information center which the loop ends up being about 2 miles total, but there's a lot of routes you can take that I'm sure cam add on a few miles

They point out paths used by homeless embankments. So police can find them easier.
Yes, pets are allowed. Nice trail & open space w/added attraction of wildlife.
No Mountain Lions in a while but beware of the Cougars that roam the area 😜
