Be careful a huge branch of a tree just broke and fell to the ground luckily no one was under the area and it missed a tent. The bathrooms were decently clean. A good place to walk and get some sunshine along with some fresh air.

I meet with a pair of baby boomers every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 in front of the picnic benches and we do a 4-mile walk it is a beautiful walk I come in from El Cajon or it's way too hot so anyone that says 50 or older are welcome to join us

We usually go here for an afternoon walk with the kids on weekend. It's a very nice place to walk around or play some ball games with the kids. A very nice place for picnic as well. Updated. It's been a while since my last visit. It still one if the best beaches that I want to go when I have my kids with me. There's lot of spaces to play, to walk around or riding a bike.

Simply BEAUTIFUL From every angle. Just watch out for the segals they will swoop down ans take your food if you turn away. But other then that. We really enjoyed our day. Kids playing people jogging grilling out jet ski paddle boarding its all here. Perfect family hang out spot. Just get out there early to get that ideal perfect spot. Gotta love this Cali life.

I go there all the time and i never leave until after 2 r 3ish and I've never had a problem with the police r a ticket
Ski Beach now allows all night parking to ease the homeless problem. So there are fires till Dawn.
Yes get a permit. Then you can place a gazebo there. We got tickets
Might not be busy currently 5.19.18 because of May grey (overcased), you can find parking anytime of the day right now, especially during the week. There are about 5 lots there and you can usually find parking even during busy times. If not, you can park on streets above, if lots are full. Just pay close attention to posted signs in those lots. The city cant wait to ticket you!!!! Parking clerks hide in the woodwork, and immediately ticket you if you park your car in big huge empty boat and trailer lot for 2 minutes to snap a picture. And in some of Mission Bays lots have signs that say "no parking on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Between the hours of 6am and 10am" with arrow (that cover many spots.)For street sweepers. So if you see premium parking wide open, question in your mind, why are no other cars parked here? Sometimes a big truck will pull up and hide the signs, then you park there and get zapped. Or even trees cover signs. Be really careful!!! I live here and have been dooped twice.
The answer is, posted no habitation in any vehicle what so ever. Having said this it has been my** experience that it's a craps game* sometimes it's a ticket most of the time it isn't. Ignorance of the law is no excuse for lack of adherence to said law... hoodluck
Yes, there are 🔥 fire pits, all parks in San Diego close at 2200 (10pm) I think
Yes public bathrooms are available for you to change with locks on em
There are designated areas with pits all around first come bases, I've seen lots of owner bring BBQs, but your own pit is prohibited in all San Diego beaches.
Yes
I here and the San Diego police that patrolled the beach at the time we went told us no dogs allowed on Ski Beach
From what a friend told me no you cannot park an RV trailer overnight at Ski Beach
Some do but they get taken up quickly. Best bet is to bring your own
I'm not really sure if that's Ski Beach or evi but you can definitely see both from either or Islands
