If a son was given the flag from his father's casket and while he was in the army his mother was killed when he made it home all was gone can his flag be replaced

If you are Veteran sir you rate a flag and I am sure if you go to the VA they would honor your dads flag if you can show proof of his service and death. I wish you the best,
