I have dry eye syndrome and use Restasis regularly. I have been told that Lasik is not a good option for me because of this. Is that still true?

It would be best to call and speak with one of our refractive surgery counselors. They can be reached at 800-884-7254. If you have dry eyes now, you’ll have them after LASIK and the condition could be worse. But dry eye syndrome does not completely rule out LASIK.

That is potentially true. Dry eyes are a possible effect of LASIK. I would recommend talking with your regular optometrist or scheduling an evaluation with PCLI and one of their providers can let you know if you'd be a good candidate.
