Some is, some isnt. Ask your housing authority if your assistance is transferable.
You will have to go on a waiting list.
If you are not a participant of the HUD program, you shall have to apply at the nearest office in the city and state you wish to live in & be put on the waiting list if one is open. I suggest you view the website for the city/ state you wish to move to and contact HUD by email should you have further questions.
