How is this mall actually doing? With malls collapsing all over the United States, will this one fall soon too? Seems if Macy’s closed that anchor store, that would be bad. Asking because we are moving into the area.

For right now it is fairly stable however you have identified that it is suffering from the same situation as other malls throughout the us and that is it is bleeding shops... Although not to the extent of other malls. I think you're fairly safe with the new developments around University Place that it's going to be a stable area for some time to come

It's been around for a long time... at least 35 years. They do a good job at changing with the times. And with normal Utah winters, these big indoor malls tend to do well.

We will see. New design and things for kids as well as connecting movies and apartment s they may have a captive audience.

Pony Boy?

Its very family friendly. I wouldn't take my son somewhere, where I would think that the place could come tumbling down on us. You're golden pony boy.

University Mall is doing very well indeed. Just expanded, interior renovated, it's a great hangout. You'll like it. Got enough variety to satisfy almost any taste. Even a large variety of restaurants. Just keeps getting better.

With all the new developments, i think it is doing okay.
