I think it depends on the night. I had tickets at 9pm on a Friday evening. We got there early and thought we would chance it. They let us in at 8pm. It all depends on how crowded it is. Best of luck!
Probably not. Most people spend 1.5 hrs in the castles, so if you can get the time slot after youre likely not going to miss much. Also, if the people with tickets for an earlier time slot wait past their time they risk not being allowed in at that later time.
