The walk-in clinic is for cough and cold type stuff, less severe things that maybe can't wait for a regular appointment days away. Urgent care is for more urgent things that need more time, labs, etc.

Walk in clinic can also see you for basic wound, allergy, symptom questions. They can take samples of swabs or order blood/urine tests and the like. Perhaps theyre not working on major injuries and immediate heart or blood pressure care type of things.
