If you receive a Costco Gift Card, do you have to have a membership to use it?

If i remember right, you don't have to be. Just show the gift card when going in.

You definitely do not need to be a member to use a gift card, but do if you want to put more money on it or purchase another one.

You either need to be a member, or be escorted by a member, or go in to customer service desk to exchange the gift card for cash.

I'm sure they would give you a one day pass to use it.

Yes I have been given a Costco gift card and was able to use it without having a membership.
