So, if your household only has one card you should be able to add the child for free ...but it should be a person that lives in household (wink). Either way, membership always pays for itself. I've been an "Executive" member forever and the 2% rewards has always offset the annual membership fee and on the rare ocassion it hasn't they have even covered the difference - but that could be because we've been exec members for so many years. You can't go wrong with Costco. And if you do, they make it right!
