In store shopping is generally a fine experience but calling and trying to actually talk to someone is very difficult. I was on hold to talk to someone at the main phone number for 15 minutes yesterday and at tool rental for 10 minutes and nobody answered, and today I kept getting transferred back to the tool rental department 8 times before I gave up. Nobody was able to give me any information except that I had to keep being transferred back to that department to “hope that someone picks up”. So save your time and just physically go to the store instead of trying to call.

They may be a little more expensive than Lowes, but have a much better selection of tile, carpet, laminate and vinyl flooring than anyone else. And their paint shop has some great colors available!

Very helpful, and happy employees. I was shopping for kitchen cabinets with my cousin. We were asked if we needed help bout 6 times, we were just looking at that time. But when i needed assistance, i got knowledgeable help. Not yes, its over that way. He took us to the aisle, greatly appreciated. They printed up a quote for me, even let me know i could use my military discount. Thanks Silverdale Home Depot Diane. Creech

Long time customer but leaving a review now because of the excellent customer service we've received in the last few months. We're doing a big remodel and they have been wonderful. Special shout out to their knowledgeable and super helpful flooring team, the associates in the paint department and customer service. Thank you all for your assistance with our project! We'll definitely keep coming back to you guys.

If you could happen upon a group of "out of town" woodchucks looking for work outside of the store, you could PROBABLY circumvent the union and PETA restrictions and STILL get it done cheaper.
If you use a credit card they can look it up or if used cash they will give an instore credit .

Yes they carry artificial grass. You would have to contact your nearest store for price per foot and installation.
Yes
If you have more than one to cut or you need a straight cut (which can be hard to get with a hand saw) they can cut it for you on their radial arm saw. There are some caveats though. They cannot cut less than 12 inches and depending on the diameter of the dowel they may not be able to cut it for safety reasons. If the dowel though is a small diameter (1/2 inch or less) cutting it with a hand saw at the cutting station is a piece of cake.
Drum sander and sheet sanders. Not sure if this location still has the 4 disk random orbit type. Drum is best for a full resurface but can yield inconsistent results if you haven't used them before. If you want to try one start with a fine grit paper until you get the hang of how they work and are comfortable using more agressive paper. Sheet sanders work great for roughing up the surface for a recoat or for light removal. Very easy to use and control and good for leveling small bumps and ridges in a floor or deck.
