If you have more than one to cut or you need a straight cut (which can be hard to get with a hand saw) they can cut it for you on their radial arm saw. There are some caveats though. They cannot cut less than 12 inches and depending on the diameter of the dowel they may not be able to cut it for safety reasons. If the dowel though is a small diameter (1/2 inch or less) cutting it with a hand saw at the cutting station is a piece of cake.
They have a cutting station. You have to pay for the whole length though. Unless you are buying the big diameter stuff.
