Anyone aware that Wal-Mart is charging people to cash a money order purchased from Walmart? How ridiculous is that. First the person getting the money order pays for it then the person cashing it pays for that. What a scam

It’s because the money order is through Money Gram not Walmart . The fee to buy it is charged by Money Gram not Walmart, so when Walmart cashes it, it’s a charge just the same as cashing a check.
