Very dark inside. Hard to get a good vibe

Really disappointing post. If I could give negative stars I would. They do next to nothing for vets or the community. Basically, just a depressing, outdated, dark bar for vets to get drunk at. Leadership is non-existent and drunk most of the time (the commander, Dave Delaney is rarely sober). Because of this, most of the membership stays away. I’m ashamed and embarrassed that this is an American Legion post. Thankfully due to their inability to organize events or do much more than the occasional parade, they are running out of cash and will probably shut down soon. The drunks can’t keep this post alive and vets who actually want to help fellow veterans stay away. Can’t shut down soon enough in my mind. Gives all of us veterans a bad name.

Great staff, food is all prepared differently, prices are very reasonable, cozy inside and out, friendly environment.

Questions & Answers

Where do I take a flag that is ripped or is not in good shape?

If you live in the local area Arlington American Legion has a flag disposal box at the back door. It is an old USPS box painted red, white and blue. You can also ring the buzzer at the front door. Just let the bartender know it is for disposal.

If I sign up for the American Legion online, it costs $25.00. I live in Arlington and would like to attend Post 76 activities. Would I have to pay another $25.00 to become a member there, or will my online payment be all that is needed for Post 76?

When signing up online you are considered a member at large and will not be able to participate in Post 76 member only games. Please stop by thr Legion and sign up there. I know the dues are $50 annually but you won't regret the decision.
