Google it. I just followed a YouTube video's suggestions on diagnostics and trouble shooting, then I bought the piece on Amazon Prime.

It's more than likely your thermostat
I would call an RV repair shop and ask them what would/could cause it to overheat
If you have an RV you will always have to be working on something I have done a lot repairs on mine. First of all check the thermostat to see if it is up to high and then if it is set that what you wanted to be it mean your automatic sensor to shut off is bad the sensor is built into the knob to turn it up or down it will have to be replaced
