Kirstie hall is an amazing manager and you can tell she cares about the community she looks over, I never have any issues and if there are they're quickly taken care of, I'd recommend living here to anyone I know based off of my experience

Lived here for 5 1/2 months and every month gets worse and worse. I had a longboard stolen off my patio the first week I was here. I had someone spray paint graffiti on my porch a couple months ago. Over the holidays, our sink was so clogged it wouldn’t drain at all, and it took them over a week to fix. The worst part is that for the last two months we’ve been charged a vacancy fee even though we clearly live here. They promised to give us a credit each month for it but have yet to follow through. So I’m just paying extra money I know I’ll never see again.

As a long time resident of The Lakes, 7yrs, I’m a tad baffled by so many low star reviews, it’s been my experience that The Lakes Apts deliver exactly what they claim to, good, clean, well maintained apartments for a reasonable price. I’ve had a few minor maintenance issues over the years and every single time, the maintenance crew has responded quickly and resolved whatever problem occurred. When I’ve had non maintenance concerns I just call or swing by the office and my issues/concerns have been dealt with to my satisfaction. The last few years my go to gal in the office has been Kirsty , she has the knowledge, skill and authority to handle issues quickly and thoroughly and she’s a pleasure to deal with. The Lakes is a good place to live.

My partner and I had originally signed a one year lease with our two dog at The Lakes as our first place to live together. We JUST finished renewing our lease again to live here for a THIRD year. The community here is a healthy diverse social mix of individuals and families that are all friendly, clean to the best of their abilities, and safe. We weren’t planning on staying for more than the first year, but after living here and experiencing the care that our property managers Steve and Kirstie gave us, we found it really hard to leave. When I was originally apartment/home hunting, benefits of living so close to I-5, amenities like walk-in closets, a pet friendly community, renovated units, open floor plans, hardwood flooring, washer and dryer in my unit, and a bedroom big enough for my king size bed, were all on my checklist for finding our first place together. The Lakes checked every box and I was sold! We even waited 10 days before we got the keys and skipped getting new flooring because we wanted to move in so bad. Just the outside, walking through property in early July, felt like our own hidden piece of nature, where you can hear running water, ducks, and frogs, even though we’re plopped right next to the High School in the middle of a quickly developing city. It’s quiet in the sense if you like to hear the sounds of nature, but I’d take the loud sounds of nature over the city any day. On top of all those benefits and amenities that made us move in, it truly is the attention to detail, genuine care, and trustworthy relationship we have with the property managers and maintenance staff at The Lakes. They’ve gone above and beyond the new state regulations to help their community through COVID-19. Anytime we needed a minor plumbing tweak in the unit, it was handled within 24hrs. Quickly and easily replacing lighting fixtures. And even more personally, saving me and my partner and completely preventing a totally random apartment fire. All these reasons and more is why we chose to stay at The Lakes. I don’t normally write reviews. Sorry if this is long. But making sure a good roof is over my family’s head is super important so I think this review should be too. Thank you for all the good and hard work you all do!
