Where can people of other faiths go to learn more about the Temple and why there are requirements for people who want to worship at the Temple? Is there another type of Church building? If so, where is it (address or directions)?

There is actually a church building of the same faith that shares the parking lot, it's a little behind it. There's at least one congregation that meets there around noon on Sunday, and while you could talk to anyone there (and anyone can just walk right in) the best person to talk to in this case would be the bishop. Just ask people to point you to him and he'll be more than happy to talk to you all about it and any other questions you might have.

All you need to do is talk to a local member of theCurch of Jesus Christ, and ask your questions, nothing is hidden, and no secret groups are involved. And yes you need to learn about Jesus and his teachings, the Bible, and live a Christ like life in order to be able to attend a Temple.
